The 25mm (1″) tweeters are designed more for custom fit applications.  The tweeters can be used with or without Elite Components as the tweeters come with an in-line       -12dB/octave crossover.  When used with Elite Components the in-line crossover is simply discarded.  The tweeters are available in two different diaphragm types:

Pure Silk Membrane – Silk is a very well damped material which allows for smooth true sound reproduction.

92.5dB 1w/1 - Freq. Response 1500Hz – 22kHz

Silk Infused Aluminum Membrane – Aluminum is a rigid material great for accentuating the higher frequencies in a tweeters range.  The silk in infused on the reverse side of the dome to dampen the aluminum and preserve the high frequency definition.

93.7dB 1w/1m - Freq. Response 1500Hz – 25kHz
